Our Quality Management System
For many years, we have built up our internal quality management system according to the Kanban process control principle and the DIN EN ISO 9001 guidelines. In a continuously changing improvement process, we strive for efficiency from delivery, through warehousing, external and internal logistics, to production and delivery of high-quality products to you. Our real quality concept is confirmed again and again in regular audits in the form of certificates.
The idea of Quality
The quality concept for the best products is the zero-defect rate. We can only comply with this quota if the quality concept is already consistently implemented by all our employees in the planning and preparation of the parts. Over the years, we have developed a continuous improvement process that also takes ecological aspects into account as quality requirements. In this way it is already guaranteed when accepting the supplier products that you can rely in the end result on a complete quality management on an international level.
Training and further education
International regulations for each quality management system change several times a year, at least during the year between balance sheets and new production plans. Accordingly, it is essential that our employees at Schaumaplast are trained in the changes to DIN EN ISO 9001, innovations in Kanban and new internal specifications in the improvement process. We also invest the necessary time in such a way that there are no gaps in the other process control systems. We regularly send employees across departments to special further training courses on quality standards and efficiency.
Of course, this also includes ongoing training in occupational safety. After all, a good idea of quality for your further use of our products can only grow in a safe and efficient working environment. In addition to external participation in seminars on Schaumaplast’s quality management system, we also hold internal employee meetings on quality requirements in the individual departments and across departments.
Specifications for Quality Management
To use resources sparingly in accordance with the requirements of DIN EN ISO 9001, to pay attention to environmental and quality aspects when ordering raw materials and supplier parts, to achieve a zero-defect rate through a continuous improvement process for the quality of finished products and to organise the entire process control according to the Kanban principle.
Kanban plays an important role within the requirements of DIN EN ISO 9001. The method includes the control of production processes. The aim is to keep as little as possible in stock, but to create a cost-optimized value-added chain through good throughput and foresighted calculation. Schaumaplast considers Kanban criteria within the company’s own quality management system. This has repeatedly led to certification in previous audits, in which we are certified that we comprehensively meet the standard requirements according to DIN EN ISO 9001.
