Quality Management
Quality management in manufacturing.
Quality Concept
Our goal is the zero-error rate. This idea of quality is consistently lived by our employees from the moment the order is received, through planning, production, quality control, packaging and loading to delivery, in all processes, through intensive communication and consultation.
Certificates
We have been certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 since 1996. This standard not only serves as the basis for our quality management system, it is also subject to a continuous improvement process of our entire processes. DIN ISO 9001 takes into account all process factors from the supply of raw materials to the delivery of finished products.
Steady improvement
In order to meet our quality standards in the long term, we are continuously working internally to optimize our processes and actively encourage suggestions for improvement from our employees. The quality standard is lived in all areas of the company.
Our quality management system
For many years we have built up our internal quality management system in accordance with the guidelines of the process control principle Kanban and the requirements of DIN EN ISO 9001. In a continuously changing improvement process, we strive for efficiency from delivery to warehousing, external and internal logistics to production and delivery of high quality products to you. Our real implemented quality concept is confirmed again and again in regular audits in the form of certificates.
The quality concept
The quality concept for best products is the zero-defect rate. We can only maintain this if the concept of quality is consistently carried out by all our employees as early as the planning and preparation of the parts. In the course of the company’s years, we have developed a continuous improvement process that also takes ecological aspects into account as a quality requirement. In this way it is already guaranteed at the acceptance of the supplier products that you can rely on a complete quality management on an international level in the final result.
Training and education
International regulations for any quality management system change several times a year, at least in the annual period between balance sheets and new production plans. Accordingly, it is essential that our employees at Schaumaplast are trained with the changes to DIN EN ISO 9001, to innovations in Kanban and to internal new specifications in the improvement process. We also invest the time required for this in such a way that no gaps occur in the other process control. We regularly send employees across departments to special training courses on quality standards and efficiency.
Of course, this also includes ongoing training in occupational safety. After all, good quality thinking for your further use of our products only grows in a working environment that is as safe as it is efficient. In addition to external participation in seminars on Schaumaplast’s quality management system, we also hold internal employee meetings on quality standards in the individual departments and across departments.
Specifications for quality management
To use resources sparingly in accordance with the requirements of DIN EN ISO 9001, to pay attention to environmental and quality aspects when ordering raw materials and vendor parts, to achieve a zero-defect rate through a continuous improvement process in the quality of finished products, and to organize the entire process control according to the Kanban principle.
Kanban plays an important role within the requirements of DIN EN ISO 9001. The method includes the control of production processes. As little as possible should be kept in stock, but a cost-optimized value chain should be created by a good throughput and foresighted calculation. Schaumaplast takes Kanban criteria into account within its in-house quality management system. This has repeatedly led to certification in previous audits, in which we are certified as comprehensively meeting the standard requirements of DIN EN ISO 9001.
