Schaumaplast is the first
TÜV-certificated manufacturer
of Biomass Balance eps.

The use of one ton of biomass eps saves an equivalent of approximately 1,700 kg (3,750lb) of CO2 compared to ‘conventional’ eps. This corresponds approximately to a 10,000-kilometer (6,200-mile) car journey.

In the manufacturing of our biomass eps Thermoboxes, 100% of the required fossil raw materials are substituted with sustainable raw materials.

The portfolio of our Thermoboxes covers all common sizes from 0.6 liters (0.16 gallons) up to more than 1,200 liters (317 gallons) of usable internal volume. The insulated containers are available at short notice and without any additional tooling costs.

The listed Thermoboxes can also be equipped with vacuum insulation panels (VIPs) and used as a basis for the development of pre-certified refrigerated packaging.
